I think 2022 is a Cat Year because this year has many 2, and meow is often written 2 in Japan.
I made the calendar with my illustrations with mixed Wafu-getsumei, cats, and seasonal motifs for personal work. Wafu-getsumei(和風月名) is the old-style name of months called in Japan.
